if u say obama FORCE people to use wind and solar then yes
jobs will go to China, because wind and solar technologies so far are not mainstream nor mass produced so they are very very expensive. if we get China to manufacture solar panels and wind turbines, then these sources of energy will become much more affordable and benefit the world
I would like to point out that it was Bush who said that companies who manufacture overseas are good for the US, because then the products are cheaper.
Obama has already stated that he will excessively raise taxes on products that are imported. Just the fact that he has said this, has caused some companies to start bringing their offices back into the US (I know, because the company I work for is one of them).
Obama has said that he wants more energy efficiency, he is not going to force industry to go solar, but he is going to make them more answerable for any consequences of their actions.
No! You uninformed person! When the US starts using clean energy we will end up becoming 3 steps ahead of most of the world! Think about France, they use nuclear energy to power their country and they seem to be doing fine. Other nations will buy our technologies creating a whole new industry, creating many new jobs. The whole country will be revitalized.
Using 19th century technologies to power our nation isn’t going to keep us the world’s only remaining superpower.
And Obama can’t do anything by himself, thus the whole premise of the US system of checks and balances.
