I am trying to research and find out what I need to know to start up a small business. My plan is to buy wholesale goods and sell them but I noticed when I was visting one site that they do drop shipping? I dont know what that means can someone explain it to me?
They will ship the item directly to your customer, using no identification so the customer may assume that the product came directly from you… That way, no stocking costs, or shipping costs to duplicate… Beware, however, because that means if the shipper does not do what they are supposed to, it falls on you…you cannot delegate responsibility for late or non-existent shipment of product.
