I mean our economy is already China-dependent. Most of our company outsourcing their factory in China. They have huge resources, man power, significant growth in military technology and start to take a bigger portion in international issues…

not unless america makes the same mistake as they did after ww2 and try to bully and intimidate china.
If you keep on friendly terms with them and don’t blow it out of all proportion, which i can see right wing doing, it should be fine.
The us economy isn’t totally dependant on china the same as china’s isn’t totally dependant on americas.
You do realise that in this day of global trade china needs america as much as america needs china, there is no such thing as a truly closed economy anymore.
Plus what real danger is there?
China cant fight everyone else. America is big as well. Plus the EU would likely unite with America if it came down to it.
Russia may or may not fight on either side.
Then you have other nations, what will the middle east do, most likely stay out of it. What would south america do?
PAcific nations?
If it does happen it would be a truly globa; conflict.
Where will india side?japan?
Africa?
You see my point.
Bottom line as long as sarah palin’s blood thirsty war mongering self is kept out of office the us should be fine.
P.s I thought mcain or obama would do a good job, but sarah palin was a complete idiot, obliterate iran, what a clever idea, go to war with a nuclear power and provoke every muslim country to attack you whilst giving every muslim mor ereason and likelyhood to go on a fatwah.

China’s entire economy is export dependent, nobody in China wants to buy what they produce.
When country become more self supportive China’s economy will fail, as it is shaky now.
As a small business owner, 80% of my current production is work coming back from China, as China failed to produce quality and delivery.
Without sidetracking anymore, yes, China is not a friend of the US. This should be evident from attempting to make the Yuan the new global currency.
It is noteworthy that Gog and Magog in Revelation are seen as China and Russia.
The west is already at war with China but this is a war by proxy. The Chinese are a threat to their neighbours Russia, India, Viet Nam. They have a lot of people that are emigrating and they use the Chinese communities all over the world to boost their export and get hold of natural resources. You have Chinese migrants/settlers all over Africa, Europe, Latin America. China has bought huge plots of land in Central Africa to grow bio fuel. In Darfour China has shown that it was a major player.
Not necessarily with America – the immediate danger with China is with her neighbors. India, Russia, China, South Korea, *maybe* North Korea, not to mention Taiwan… am I leaving anyone out? The rivers are gonna run dry in that part of the world. They’ll have water wars.
Look, we have the most powerful military the world has every seen. We outspend everyone on the planet per military budget by a lot. A lot! One of our aircraft carriers could wipe out a small country all by itself. The only way the USA could be defeated overnight is if several countries teamed up together. For example I have read about a scenario where we are attacked by BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, and China).
If China, India and Russia suddenly become very, very good friends then I would start to worry.
As a Southeast Asia Chinese, let me say something about it…

No offense of course. That depends on the leaders of both nations, can they co-operate? can they be friendly to each other?
What I know so far, is that China don’t do imperialism or station troops outside its border unless invaded. Don’t let the Tibet issue be seen as a problem, Manchuria China already got Tibet as its belongings.
You do know that The western alliance forces invaded Beijing during the late Manchurian China, the whole population got worry like hell. Modern China become strong so that such thing will not happen again and intended to become a force to anti such thing; and also to gain respect from others.
We Chinese are proud people, unless you trigger us pass our limit, we will not threaten you, that’s our culture.
So far, USA made itself the prime rival and target of the world because of pressing its influence upon other nations, directly or indirectly. It became worry to so many others.
For example, Osama Bin Laden issue. Since Malaysia is Islamic country, we become a suspect of Osama’s allies, we were joking among ourselves what happen if your bomber airships come, we can go back to stone age.
Some set back made you people feel worry, I can understand that, it’s a common human thing. Some professional analyzed that USA’s policies on finance kind of stuff is actually flaw, now the flaw has come to realize.
Don’t worry, China got enough problems on its own, no danger will come to realize in our life time. Our children’s era, I don’t know, no one knows.
BTW, cosmic rule says – no nation will stand tall forever and none will lay down forever.
No. China does not have to be an enemy. In reality, China has more problems than then United States in terms of demographics and resources. The population imbalance and the lack of water and other resources will limit what China can do. China doesn’t want a war with the United States and it won’t move towards one in the near future.
I dont think China has the same desires to conquer the world oil reserves as is the US desires, besides its an economy having largest reserves of trillions of Dollars , rather they have already injected a lot of dollars to stablize the US in this recession.
Largest reserves even in these times are 1 China, 2. Russia
I don’t see it as a danger. I see it as a change of power due to the self interests and complacency of American politians. In America we take a defense position on working with other countries. Any country could take over America while our people drink coffee lattes at Starbucks. We need a more nationalistic spirit instead of self-indulgent interests.
